Rovio has confirmed that Angry Birds Star Wars is headed to Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, 3DS and Vita, and Angry Birds Star Wars II is coming to iOS even sooner.

Following Angry Birds Trilogy last year, Activision and Rovio will bring Angry Birds Star Wars to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Wii U, Vita, and 3DS gamers on October 29th.

While last year's game gathered a trio of Angry Birds games, ABSW will only port the specially-branded game to console, but that doesn't mean the console version won't have a few special items unique to this new version.
